Exciting news for this Friday follow up. We ended up getting the last room at the Western Masters art show in Great Falls, Montana. We were headed up there anyway, because “The Storyteller” is in the CM Russell museum auction. So this will make the trip extra special because we will get to participate in this great art show and sale. We will be in room 242, so if you are in the area March 14-17, stop and say hello. The Western Masters art show is held at the Best Western Heritage Inn in Great Falls, Mont. It’s very nice the way they do this show. Artists rent the hotel rooms, which are cleared of all their furnishings. The room is then decorated with art that each artist has created. Then the people that are there for the show, can wander from room to room and see all the great art. One thing that’s so nice about this particular hotel is, the rooms are around the court yard that contains the pool. Except the best part is, it’s all enclosed. This enclosed court yard looks like a warm lush garden in the pictures I’ve seen. Al has been working on some new pieces, and trying to finish up all the others he has started. We expect this to be great show, and we are very excited to go. This guy will be done by then, I’ll have to come up with a name before we go.
