Our project for the Western Design Conference
We are going back to the Western Design Conference this year, and Al and I are collaborating on a piece. He is doing the building and carving, and I will do some bead work on it. It’s a small desk, made from juniper and cherry. Al is following the natural lines of the juniper, so it’s going to be very unique.
There will be some carved birds, and the back of the desk will be carved to look like the Teton mountain range.

We are very excited about the way this piece is coming together. Al had the idea of doing a smaller desk, and wanted to incorporate the bead work. We have gone from there with the design elements, and everything is looking great.
