Summer show schedule, and an award
Al has a piece currently at the Sears Dixie invitational art show, in St. George, Utah. This is an invitation only art show, and the top artists in Utah exhibit every year. This year, Al entered “Weathering the storm” and won first place for sculpture.
This piece has gotten a lot of attention everywhere we have had it.
We have finally got our summer art show schedule worked out. We made the decision to take all the sculptures out of the gallery in Jackson Hole, and take them to art shows instead. This seems like a better way to get exposure for the art.
Our first show will be Sun Valley, ID. July 4-6th. We did these art and antique shows last year and loved them. The women who run them do an awesome job, and we were able to take not only the sculptures but beadwork too.
August 9th and 10th, we will be in Loveland, CO at the Sculpture in the park show. This will be our first year there, and it should be exciting. This is one of the top sculpture shows in the nation.
July 15-17th we are back in Jackson Hole for another Art and antique show at Teton village. The following weekend we will be at the Virginian in Jackson Hole for another Art and antique show.
We have applied for a new art show in Alpine, WY June 20-22 but will not hear back until May on that one.
