The new pieces are done
We are taking these 4 new pieces to the Turpin Gallery in Jackson hole today. We are very happy with the way the collaboration pieces turned out. The bead work panels on the two pedestals, really set them apart.
This first piece is 34″ tall and we made it for the sculpture “Listen”.
Al made a very nice small table from a great piece of cherry with a juniper base. The edge was naturally lighter, so he carved it to look like a stream. He then added coyote, squirrel and cotton tail tracks to the top. We have carved tracks in other pieces, and they are always a hit.
And the last piece is solid walnut table that Al made with the sculpture “War Dance” in mind.
This next piece, is 50″ tall and can be either a small shelf piece, or an art pedestal. We made this one for “The Storyteller”.
